STRIVE TO BE AN ALLY TO THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY WORKSHOP:

In this collaborative workshop, the Next Pivot Point team will share best practices, ideas, and research from our research on allyship as it relates to being an ally to the LGBTQ+ community. Together, we will learn how to lead like allies and create space for all people to feel like they belong in the workplace.

In this workshop, participants will discuss:

  1. Language & History – What the acronym means and the history of LGBTQ+ rights
  2. Actionable ally best practices
  3. How to ensure a culture of belonging for everyone and facilitate being out at work in a safe, brave way

WHAT TO EXPECT IN A NEXT PIVOT POINT WORKSHOP

Next Pivot Point workshops can be delivered virtually or in person and are led by subject matter experts and talented facilitators. You can expect:

  • 60-90 minutes of engaging and thought provoking content
  • Live polling and activities
  • Live moderation & resource sharing
  • Action items and ideas to practice for all participants
