In this session, inclusive leadership trainers from the Next Pivot Point team will share stories, ideas, and research from Julie Kratz’s book, Lead Like an Ally: A Journey Through Corporate America with Strategies to Facilitate Inclusion. This talk includes data and case studies to demonstrate the “why” for leading with allyship, and strategies to foster a more inclusive workplace.
To succeed together, we will discuss:
- Why Allies Matter – The business case and human case for diversity and inclusion
- What an ally is – Allies play different roles, personally and professionally
- How to be an ally – Key strategies to lead like an ally regardless of your role or position in an organization
WHAT TO EXPECT IN A NEXT PIVOT POINT WORKSHOP
Next Pivot Point workshops can be delivered virtually or in person and are led by subject matter experts and talented facilitators. You can expect:
