There are now an unprecedented five generations in the workforce. Practicing allyship across generations is essential for creating an inclusive and supportive work environment that leverages everyone’s diverse perspectives and experiences.
Understanding and respecting the unique challenges and contributions of each generation—from Traditionalists to Gen Z—can enhance collaboration and drive innovation. By fostering a culture of empathy, curiosity and mutual respect, we can ensure that all employees feel valued and empowered to contribute fully.
In this workshop we’ll discuss:
- The lived experience of different generations – The times in which people have coming of age experiences shapes their world view
- Flexing your style – How allies can practice curiosity and flex to other’s work styles to take advantage of everyone’s unique contributions
- Aligning on shared values – Rather than focusing on what is different across generations, place the focus on shared values to enhance collaboration and drive innovation
WHAT TO EXPECT IN A NEXT PIVOT POINT WORKSHOP
Next Pivot Point workshops can be delivered virtually or in person and are led by subject matter experts and talented facilitators. You can expect:
- 60-90 minutes of engaging and thought provoking content
